Tsavo East

Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks, is a vast wilderness that offers a truly authentic safari experience. Covering over 13,700 square kilometers, the park is known for its dramatic landscapes, including the Yatta Plateau—the world’s longest lava flow—and the Galana River, which flows through the park’s semi-arid terrain. Tsavo East is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, leopards, and over 500 bird species. Its red-dusted elephants, often seen bathing in the river, are a defining image of the park. Visitors can enjoy game drives, bird watching, and scenic views of landmarks like Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rock, and Aruba Dam. The park’s vast open spaces and raw beauty make it ideal for nature lovers seeking tranquility and a genuine African wilderness experience.
